Nidri Town Lefkada

Lefkada town is the capital of the island of lefkas.

The 800 people who live in nidri permanently have developed its small port to one of the busiest harbours on lefkada with ferries and cruises to meganisi ithaca and kefalonia. On one side from lefkada town there is the azimouth connecting all ionian islands with a fast transport service. Nidri also sometimes spelt nydri is the businest tourist destination on lefkada island. It is possible to walk from one end of nidri to the other in not much more than 20 minutes.

Will the restaurants be open. We don t want lots of. On the other hand from the harbor of nidri there are daily ferries that connect lefkada to the islands of ithaka and kefalonia. At first sight nidri looks a bit untidy and poorly planned.

The port lies directly next to the promenade of nidri and it has very easy access for cars. Built in 2014 this family run hotel is located in the south east of lefkada island facing a stunningly beautiful bay. It is also a municipality and the most popular tourist resort on the island. Despite this it is still only a village and keeps a lot of its village character.

Lefkada is a small island but it has two primary port for ferries. Nidri also spelt nydri is town on lefkada island situated 17km southeast of the island s capital lefkada town. I am wondering if when we get there.
